Do you suspect you are neurodivergent? Let’s find out together.

MPS, L.L.C. provides affordable, comprehensive assessments for adult attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and autism spectrum disorder.

Dr. Maxwell is pleased to offer comprehensive attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and adult autism evaluations at out-of-pocket fees of $750 per evaluation. These rates are below the standard rates most practices charge (e.g., $1000-$2500) and reflect Maxwell Psychological Services, L.L.C.’s commitment to providing affordable, top-quality mental health care services to Kansans, Missourians, and folks from other communities.

In partnership with Kansas City University’s Health Service Psychology Program, Dr. Maxwell oversees a year-long assessment practicum for doctoral-level clinical psychology graduate students in training. Dr. Maxwell supervises and directly assists his trainees as they administer tests and interviews for all evaluations. Dr. Maxwell then integrates these findings to produce a final report.

By choosing MPS, L.L.C. for your assessment needs, you receive expert services at affordable rates and contribute to the professional development of the next generations of psychologists in our community.

What does an evaluation look like?

Each evaluation requires roughly 4-6 hours of face-to-face contact with Dr. Maxwell and/or his trainee*. These hours include but are not limited to unstructured and semi-structured interviews, self-report inventories, and cognitive testing. Dr. Maxwell may also ask to speak with someone familiar with you (e.g., your sibling, parent/guardian, or significant other) to obtain “3rd party” information to assist in his evaluation(s).

After the evaluation, you will receive a comprehensive report for your records, as well as an additional “user-friendly,” jargon-free summary of your results.
